On October 5, 1974, a nature enthusiastic group “MATALABIOGAMA” was established at the Faculty of Biology, Gadjah Mada University. Matalabiogama is a forum for students to grow their interests and talents imbued with a family spirit. This forum aims to develop biological sciences in nature which are supported by scientific activities, and also sports and social activities. Based on Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution and the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, Matalabiogama is an organization that upholds human dignity. Fostering a young generation that is strong, independent, and has a noble personality, with the motto “Vivat Et Floreat” which means “Forward and Developing”. Passionate about fostering harmony and harmony in the continuity of the universe system.
