Celebrating the 43th anniversary, MATALABIOGAMA holds Seminar in Tropical Natural Resources

BULAKSUMUR —MATALABIOGAMA celebrates its 43 years old on October 5. In the celebration, the organization that focuses on the support the natural life of the community and the nature sustainability of this nature organizes seminar entitled “Biology and Conservation-Based Management of Natural Resources in Tropics”, in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Biology, last Monday (9/10).

In his speech, Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Dr. Budi Setyadi Daryono, M.Agr.Sc., warmly welcomes attendees, comprised of alumnus, students, and the faculty leaders. It also tells the journey of the Faculty of Biology as well as its role in the areas of conservation of natural resources in Indonesia.

“The Faculty of Biology has been established in September 19th 1955 and now it has been 62 years. We are also pleased that in 1974, exactly on October 5th, Matalabiogama also has been launched. We congratulate the anniversary to all of Matalabiogama members, “he said to the audience.

Dean added, having taught almost 20 years in the Faculty of Biology Faculty, he realizes that almost all of the Faculty and Department of Biology in Indonesia were born from the “womb” of the “mother ” of Faculty of Biology. (Kagama.co)
