Field Application Specialist

Description:

  • The Field Application Specialist (FAS) is responsible for application support for molecular biology and genomics customers.
  • The FAS will work closely with Sales team, to support pre-sales, product application and demonstration, method set-up, and training.  The job function includes up to 75% of travel in Indonesia area.
  • Comparative studies existing brand with competition.
  • Write, design and present reports and presentation of results and present it to internal and external partners.
  • Create & perform presentations at scientific and technical meetings assuring the confidentiality of customers data.
  • Stay informed of new methods, trends, developments etc. related to the work area and report to marketing and sales management.
  • Cooperate closely with opinion leaders and key customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Life Science. Master degree is preferred.
  • Good experience in molecular biology techniques.
  • Able to speak and write in english well.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience and dedication to knowledge transfer.
  • Ideally experienced in a support function oriented to sales and customer facing activities.
