Stem cell technology known as stem cells has been established since 1965 with the success of bone marrow transplantation in two immunodeficiency siblings. In subsequent years, there was an important event that marked the progress of stem cell technology in the field of clinics.
In addition, stem cell technology is evolving as gene therapy that can be used to treat hereditary immune deficiency diseases such as Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome and reprogramming adult cells into pluripotent stem cells involving induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Stem cells have the potential to become a common treatment for severe diseases such as hereditary ones, immune deficiency, heart abnormalities, and so on.
