Tuesday, 7 February 2023, a Coordination Meeting of the UGM Faculty of Biology was held at the Bhumi Ecology Cafe, which is located to the north of the lobby building of the UGM Faculty of Economics and Business at 11.00 a.m.-01.00 p.m. The meeting was attended by the Dean and Vice Deans, Chair and Secretary of the Tropical Biology Department, Head of Study Program S1, S2, S3, Head of Administration Office, Section Head of AKUM, Section Head of AKM, and IUP Biology Coordinator. In this occasion, the Dean was the leader of the meeting, and at the beginning of the opening he conveyed the results of the visit of the Dean and Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation and Alumni on Thursday, 2 February 2023 at the UGM Jakarta and Binus University, and future plans for the opportunity to open the Biology Masters Study Program at the UGM Jakarta campus.
Then the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs representing the academic section conveyed 3 important points, namely: LAMSAMA will hold a final data meeting on 9 February 2023, the University of Groningen student exchange curriculum which has been researched by the UGM Hukor Team, and in the near future will hold a coordination meeting revision of the Academic Paper for the Professional Curator of Biodiversity Study Program (PKKH). Furthermore, the Vice Deans for Finance, Assets and Human Resources conveyed the progress of plans to build official housing for teaching staff from abroad which will begin to be prepared next year.
Before the meeting ended, the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation and Alumni had suggested that it was necessary to coordinate the management of the UGM Faculty of Biology website, considering that currently all information can be easily searched and accessed via the website. In this meeting it is hoped that what has been discussed together can be carried out properly.
