PkM-MBKM MICROALGA TEAM Faculty of Biology Carried Out Socialization and Introduction of Spirulina to the Community of Sitimulyo Village, Piyungan, Bantul, D.I. Yogyakarta

MBKM Community Service Team (PkM-MBKM) of Class 2024 Faculty of Biology, supervised by Dr. Eko Agus Suyono, M.App.Sc. with the title “Development of a Biorefinery based on Spirulina Microalgae in Sitimulyo Village, Piyungan District, Bantul” has carried out a series of PkM-MBKM activities in the Sitimulyo Village Community. The team consisting of four students; Seisha Salsabila Rosandi, Muhammad Farrel Zharif Zidane, Finka Aulia, and Salma Rohmaniah, has held a “Workshop on Introduction to Spirulina Cultivation and Production Tools”. This workshop is in collaboration with YAPEKA, a non-profit organization working in the field of conservation, nature conservation education and community empowerment. The PkM MBKM program supports SDG 3 Healthy and Prosperous Life and SDG 17 Partnership to Achieve Goals.


This activity aims to introduce Spirulina to the people of Sitimulyo Village. This activity was attended by village officials and Sitimulyo villagers. The series of activities consisted of socialization about Spirulina and its benefits, a Spirulina Farm tour, and trying Spirulina products directly. Socialization was also explained about the MBKM program that will be carried out in the future.

In the process of implementing the activities, the community was enthusiastic about taking part in the entire series, shown by active participation in conveying questions and opinions. In the future, the public can also learn about Spirulina cultivation on a household scale. It is hoped that the enthusiasm of residents in getting to know Spirulina can be a boost for the sustainability of this program. The hope is that people’s familiarity with Spirulina can make people more interested in cultivating and consuming Spirulina to improve the economic development and public health qualities.

Garden Development and Arrangement of the Punthuk Kepuh Tourism Area through the PkM-MBKM Program

Currently, tourism continues to grow and has become a mainstay for local communities. One of the significant potentials that is easy to develop is the utilization of natural landscapes with tourism potential. Gunungkidul Regency is an area dominated by karst landscapes with various tourism potentials such as beaches, caves, hills, waterfalls, mountains, historical sites, and cultural tourism. One of the potential natural tourism areas with a promising landscape topography is in Kathongan Village, Nglipar, particularly Punthuk Kepuh Area.

Punthuk Kepuh offers the best sunrise view surrounded by karst hills. Additionally, there are facilities like playgrounds, camping sites, glamping, joglos, prayer rooms, and parks. However, the soil conditions and characteristics at Punthuk Kepuh make it challenging to arrange shading plants and develop gardens. Therefore, the development and arrangement of gardens is necessary, which is the objective of the Community Service (PkM) activity based on the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program.

To arrange the garden in the Punthuk Kepuh area, PkM-MBKM activity was conducted on Saturday and Sunday, June 1-2, 2024. The landscape architecture discussion and garden arrangement were led by Anggi Nada, Tsaabita Roona, and Purwi Anis under the guidance of Dr. Wiko Arif Wibowo S.Si., in collaboration with the Garden Management program from the Kelompok Studi Arsitektur Taman (KSAT). The target of this service program is the Kelompok Sadar Wisata Punthuk Kepuh (POKDARWIS) which was catalyzed together with the KSAT team.

The garden-making process took two days. On the first day, a land survey and design adjustments were carried out on three garden sites, followed by the land clearing and execution process. The garden design process was then presented to community and POKDARWIS to get feedback and suggestions from the community’s perspective. On the second day, the finalization of the garden construction and the closing of the activity were conducted.

The first phase of the garden arrangement activity went smoothly and was very well received by the community, especially POKDARWIS. Mujiyono, the chairman of POKDARWIS, welcomed the PkM-MBKM collaboration to enhance the aesthetic value and support efforts to advance tourism in Punthuk Kepuh. Furthermore, this activity is expected to provide hands-on practical experience while enhancing the social spirit of the students involved, contributing to community benefits. As the supervising lecturer and proposer of PkM-MBKM, Dr. Wiko Arif Wibowo S.Si. stated that this program is UGM’s effort to contribute to SDG 15 regarding sustainable land ecosystem management and benefit the community.

The First Visit of the MBKM Research Team from the Faculty of Biology UGM to PT. Raja Pilar Agrotama (Rajaseed) for the Opening of Research Internships.

[MBKM] – Yogyakarta, May 29, 2024 – The Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) Research Team Faculty of Biology 2024, led by Prof. Dr. Budi Setiadi Daryono, M.Agr. Sc., titled “Genetic Stability Analysis and Viability Identification of Indonesian Local Melon Seeds,”visited PT. Raja Pilar Agrotama, also known as Rajaseed. The visit was attended by Maximus Jonathan Salim, Rafferty Reyhan, Laksita Chesarina, Haris Dwi Nugroho, and Ihsanti Tsania Fajriati, along with their supervisor, Dian Sartika, M.Sc. The visit aimed to provide the MBKM research team insights into seed production procedures and quality control (QC) at PT. Raja Pilar Agrotama.


The session began with introductions and a welcome from Mr. Warsito Nurtiyasno, Head of Research and Development and representative of PT. Raja Pilar Agrotama. He explained the company profile of PT. Raja Pilar Agrotama. Next, he provided fundamental education on seed production and QC. He emphasized the importance of partnerships between seed producers and farmers to ensure sustainable production. Mr. Warsito explained that viable seeds must undergo a series of processes, such as extraction, cleaning, moisture reduction, sorting, and storage. He highlighted key quality parameters such as seed moisture content, purity percentage, and germination capacity. A lively question and answer session covered seed identification methods and optimal environmental conditions for seed storage. The session concluded with documentation.

This visit is expected to equip the MBKM Research Team with valuable knowledge and enhance collaboration with PT. Raja Pilar Agrotama. Moreover, the MBKM Research activities contribute to achieving IKU 2 (Off-Campus MBKM) for the Faculty of Biology UGM and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including goals such as No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and Partnership for the Goals.

Highlighting the Role of Research and Development of the Palm Oil Industry in Indonesia, the BPDP KS Research and Development Committee Gives a Public Lecture at the Faculty of Biology UGM

Yogyakarta, 1 June 2024 – The Faculty of Biology, Universitas Gadjah Mada held a Stadium Generale entitled The Role of Research in the Development of the Palm Oil Industry. The public lecture which was held in the Tropical Biology Auditorium, Faculty of Biology UGM, was attended by lecturers and students, with speaker Dr. Tony Liwang, member of Research and Development Committee of the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP KS).


“Indonesia is the largest palm oil producer in the world, and we as researchers are expected to be able to contribute to the development of research and applications for managing these plantation products,” said Prof. Dr. Budi Setiadi Daryono, M.Agr.Sc. as Dean of the Faculty of Biology UGM in his speech on Saturday (1/6). He added that research contributions and applications need to be continued, especially to support economic improvement and community welfare.

The public lecture was then guided by Tia Efriansi, S.Si, one of the students in the Faculty of Biology UGM doctoral study program. Tia gave an overview of how the palm oil industry in Indonesia has developed to date and its potential, before then introducing lecture speakers from the Research and Development Committee of the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP KS), Dr. Tony Liwang.

Dr. Tony Liwang is a member of the Research and Development Committee of the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP KS). He is the inventor of 12 varieties of oil palm, including cloned plants resulting from oil palm tissue culture with high productivity, as well as the discoverer of more than 300 genes that have been registered in GeneBank. There are at least 14 patents under Dr. Tony’s name which has been applied on a commercial scale.

“Palm oil is the largest oil and gas foreign exchange contributor in Indonesia,” said Dr. Tony in his presentation Saturday (1/6). He emphasized the huge potential of palm oil produced by Indonesia every year, and the potential for post-harvest waste management research which is still being developed.

Palm oil itself is a component that is often found in everyday life, through food products or food derivatives produced by various multinational companies. These include cooking oil, margarine, milk, vitamins and supplements, and even soap.

The Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP KS) plays a role in managing funds for the development of sustainable palm oil research in Indonesia. Dr. Tony gave a presentation on several potential research that had been supported by BPDP KS, including innovations in the production of ligninolytic enzymes, CMC edible mushrooms, and organic fertilizer from empty oil palm fruit bunches (TKKS), bioplastic production technology from empty oil palm fruit bunches (TKKS), production of calcium soap from palm oil fat (PFAD) to increase cow’s milk production, production of MDAG (emulsifier) from palm oil, production of printing ink (green varnish) from palm oil derivatives, production of thread and fabric from empty palm fruit bunch fiber (TKKS), production of biochar (propolis charcoal), and so on.

“The challenge of research development is that it often stops at the initial research stage and is difficult to reach the commercialization stage,” said Dr. Tony is next. He said that the biggest problem was in the process of scaling up research results to the industrial level. In this case, BPDP KS plays a role in bridging palm oil research and development to produce products and technology up to the commercialization stage.

The public lecture was continued with a question-and-answer session between participants and resource persons. Participants were very enthusiastic throughout the lecture and it is hoped that through the lecture presentation they can stimulate innovative and applicable ideas, especially in supporting the development of palm oil research, as well as indirectly participating in economic growth and prosperity in Indonesia.

Faculty of Biology UGM Supports IKN as an Urban Biodiversity-Forest City in its Participation in the 1st International Conference on Forest City (ICFC) and INUCoST

Samarinda, 29-30 May 2024 – The Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN) collaborated with domestic and foreign institutions to organize the 1st International Conference on Forest City (ICFC) which was held at Universitas Mulawarman. At the international conference, the Faculty of Biology UGM participated, especially in discourses related to the study of biodiversity and the IKN environment through collaboration which will later be held through the INUCoST (Indonesian Netherland University Consortium on Sustainable Future) scheme. Delegates from the Faculty of Biology UGM included the Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Prof. Dr. Budi Setiadi Daryono, M.Agr.Sc. and Tyas Ikhsan Hikmawan, M.S., Ph.D., as a lecturer at the Faculty of Biology and PIC of the INUCoST Program from Universitas Gadjah Mada.


The 1st International Conference on Forest City (ICFC) focuses on efforts to restore tropical forests and biodiversity in the context of developing IKN as a modern forest city. In the conference, which was attended by participants from 12 countries, discussions emphasized research and technology issues in forest and biodiversity management, environmental management laws and regulations and their implementation, as well as network collaboration between practitioners, academics, and government also stakeholders.

Through this opportunity, the Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Universitas Gadjah Mada also discussed plans for the INUCoST program together with the INUCoST team from the Faculty of Biology UGM, the School of Life Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Mulawarman University, which also collaborated with the Faculty of Science Universiteit Leiden, the Netherlands. In line with the program’s mission which supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the initiated program will focus on the topic of urban biodiversity and forest cities with the development of research related to biodiversity conservation, genetic diversity, food security, and the concept of Indonesian botanical plantations.

Also present in the discussion was the Dean of SITH ITB, Prof. Endah Sulistyowati, Chair of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Mulawarman, Prof. Widi Sunaryo, Director Hortus Botanicus Universiteit Leiden, Prof. Paul Kessler who was also the keynote speaker at the 1st International Conference on Forest City. It is hoped that this collaboration through INUCoST can support the development of urban planning of IKN in the aspects of biodiversity, ecology, environment and land and water ecosystems in realizing a modern forest city.

Efforts to Improve Health and Family Economy Based on Local Resources and Wisdom in Kledokan Hamlet, Caturtunggal Village, Depok Sub-district, Sleman

On May 20, 2024, the community service-partner village team of the Faculty of Biology UGM, led by Dr. Dra. RR. Upiek Ngesti WA., DAP&E, M.Biomed conducted a meeting at Kledokan Hamlet Hall. The meeting was attended by about 50 people, including the head of Kledokan Hamlet, Mr. Punjul Santoso, members of the Rejosari Women’s Farming Group (KWT), the Rejosari Livestock Group (KP), the Karang Taruna youth group, the head of the Kledokan Family Welfare Development (PKK) group, and Mr. Herman Purwadi from the LPM Catur Tunggal.


The speakers at the event were Sari Dharmasiwi, S.Si., M.Biotech., Ph.D; Nur Indah Septriani, S.Si., Ph.D; and Woro Anindito Sritunjung, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. The speakers gave brief educational sessions on food storage hygiene, dairy-based products, increasing protein intake through catfish farming in buckets (“budikdamber”), and essential oils for aromatherapy. Practical demonstrations will follow according to the meeting schedules of the PKK, Women’s Farming Group, Livestock Group, and Karang Taruna. The activity involved students from the Faculty of Biology, Nur Farah Susilowati and Ahmad Aris Budi R., and students from the Faculty of Agriculture, Irfan Putra Ramadhan and Aprilia Nur Safitri.

In Kledokan Hamlet, around 36 cows, including four dairy cows are independently raised. The availability of livestock feed is well-maintained due to the presence of fields planted for this purpose. The main issues farmers face are barn cleanliness and the suboptimal processing of manure. Although the livestock group has equipment for manure processing, it has not been used effectively. Therefore, education on barn management and assistance in manure processing is needed.

The meeting concluded with a visit to the livestock barns and demonstration plots of various vegetable plants. This activity supports the commitment of the Faculty of Biology, UGM, to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Goal 3: “Good Health and Well-being” and Goal 17: “Partnerships for the Goals.”

The Community Service – Partner Village Team at Lumbung Mataraman, Kedungpoh Gunungkidul Holds Program Plotting

[PkM – Partner Village] On Thursday, 23 May 2024, The PkM – Partner Village Team for Lumbung Mataraman, Kedungpoh Gunungkidul, visited Lumbung Mataraman. The visit was welcomed by the village head of Kedungpoh (Dwiyono) and Director of Lumbung Mataraman (Didik Purnomo) along with their team. The PkM – Partner Village team consists of Drs. Hari Purwanto, MP., Ph.D.; Soenarwan Hery Poerwanto, S.Si., M.Kes.; Ludmilla Fitri Untari, S.Si., M.Si.; Dwi Umi Siswanti, S.Si., M.Sc., and Dr. Bambang Retnoaji, M.Sc. who was represented by his students.


The event began with a presentation on each member’s program plans. Drs. Hari Purwanto started with plans for beekeeping and training on klanceng bees cultivation; Soenarwan Hery Poerwanto, S.Si., M.Kes presented plans for vermicompost and enhanced animal feed with the addition of POC-2023; Dwi Umi Siswanti, S.Si., M.Sc. planned training on production biofertilizers and their application to handle anthracnose in chili plants; Ludmilla Fitri Untari, S.Si., M.Si. outlined plans to plant rare plants in Lumbung Mataraman and document the ethnobotany data of the Kedungpoh community; and Dr. Bambang Retnoaji, M.Sc. would provide training on wader fish cultivation.

The partners consist of ten Kedungpoh Women Farmers Group and the managers of Lumbung Mataraman. The partners were enthusiastic about the programs presented by the PkM – Partner Village Team Faculty of Biology UGM for Lumbung Mataraman. “We have been eagerly awaiting programs from the Faculty of Biology,” said the Kedungpoh village head on behalf of the farmer partners. Didik Purnomo, as Director of Lumbung Mataraman, responded optimistically, believing that the program would further legitimize Lumbung Mataraman as a notable Edu-Agrotourism destination in Gunungkidul. Kedungpoh has been bustling with many study visits from various farming groups from Central and East Java. In April, one of Kedungpoh’s agricultural activists, Tri Wahyuni, was awarded the 2024 Women’s Agriculture Initiator by the Gunungkidul Regent. “Hopefully, with the program from the Faculty of Biology UGM, we will progress further and have a wider impact,” said Didik.

Next, the program proposers meet and discuss the agenda with their respective program PIC. This discussion resulted in an agreement on the timeline and the preparation of the necessary infrastructure. The event concluded with snacks (godhokan) and a group photo. This activity embodies SDGs number 1 (No Poverty), 2 (Zero Hunger), 5 (Gender Equality), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). (TIM-LM)

EXPANDING INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS, THE FACULTY OF BIOLOGY AT UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA COLLABORATES WITH NATIONAL CHENG CHI UNIVERSITY TAIWAN IN THE JOINT SUPERVISOR PROGRAM 2024

In an effort to enhance the quality of human resources and strengthen the Tridharma of Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2024, one of the faculty members of the Faculty of Biology, Ganies Riza Aristya, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., received funding to participate in a Professor Exchange Program between Universitas Gadjah Mada and the National Chengchi University (NCCU) College of Science, Taiwan. On this occasion, Dr. Ganies was accompanied by two Fast-track Master’s students, Lucia Arum Sekar Meysari, S.Si., and Azizah Tyas Nugrahanty, S.Si. This program is funded by the Directorate of Partnerships and Global Relations. The activity is supported by a proposal entitled “Increasing the Production of Polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) as a Biodegradable Biopolymer Plastic through Recombinant Plasmid Transformation.”

The Joint Supervisor visit to NCCU Taiwan took place from May 27th to June 1st, 2024. This program is one of the collaborations between Universitas Gadjah Mada and National Chengchi University in the form of professor exchanges. The activity began with an introduction session by the dean of the College of Science (Professor Hsing Luh) followed by introductions and research topic presentations by the representatives from UGM’s Biology department, Dr. Ganies. The results of this visit included the establishment of short-term and long-term collaboration agreements, including the signing of a memorandum of agreement, mentoring, research development collaboration and publication, also the creation of an international community.

With this program, it is evident that the Faculty of Biology is committed to supporting efforts to strengthen Universitas Gadjah Mada’s ranking in the field of outstanding sciences related to UGM’s contributions to knowledge and humanity. This goal is related to SDG number 8 on education. By providing easier international access, this program can also expand Universitas Gadjah Mada’s international cooperation and future orientation. Our gratitude goes to Professor Hsing Luh, Professor Chih-Kai Yang, Professor Ming-Huan Chan, Professor Shau-Kwaun Chen, and all the staff of the College of Science NCCU, who have provided us with the opportunity to collaborate in the 2024 Joint Supervisor activity.

The Faculty of Biology UGM Initiates the Community Service Activity with the Wedomartani Tourism Awareness Group in Utilizing Animal Waste as Organic Fertilizer

the Gebang Hamlet, Jetis, Wedomartani, Ngemplak, Sleman, is the inadequate management of animal waste (kohe) from cattle and goats. Faculty of Biology UGM through the Community Service – Independent Learning Independent Campus (PkM-MBKM) 2024 activity, led by Prof. Rarastoeti Pratiwi, with members Angela Puspa Larasati, Hanifa Nazaila F, and Nindya Dayita Hapsari held the meeting with the Wedomartani Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) team, represented by Joni Martono, Rujito, and Gatot Satriya, at Warung Goeboeg Pentjeng, Gebang. The meeting was to initiate the implementation of activities in managing and utilizing animal waste to produce organic fertilizer. Prior to the meeting, a discussion was held to align the perceptions between the head of Pokdarwis Wedomartani, Langgoso Aswin Poetra, and the head of the PkM MBKM team, especially regarding the implementation of activities. This activity supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially goals 13 and 17, Land Ecosystems and Partnerships to Achieve Goals.


The dominant livestock in the Gebang Hamlet are cattle and goats. Currently, animal waste is only collected near the pens, left to dry, and not optimally utilized. Additionally, there is an abundance of bamboo plants in the Gebang hamlet, which produce bamboo leaf litter. Bamboo leaf litter also serves as a medium for the growth of Trichoderma fungus, which has benefits as a biological fertilizer and biofungicide. The meeting discussed strategies for processing and producing organic fertilizer that can be utilized by farmers. It was agreed to process kohe, consisting of cattle and goat waste, along with bamboo leaf litter. This activity will begin with the production of prototype fertilizer products consisting of 6 variants. These prototype variants will be tested on chili plant seedlings to observe their growth. Subsequently, the selected variant of kohe fertilizer products, based on the best growth test results on chili plants, will be produced on a larger scale. To optimize the production of fertilizer on a larger scale, appropriate technology is needed using simple machinery equipment. The nutrient content and potential of these kohe fertilizer variants in supporting chili plant growth will also be tested.

To support the success of these activities, the head of the PkM MBKM team stated, “These activities will run smoothly if there is synergy between the PkM MBKM team and the team from Pokdarwis Wedomartani. To facilitate the activities, it can start by scheduling the implementation time at each stage, by writing down the activities in detail. Additionally, joint commitment is needed to achieve the goal of producing organic fertilizer from kohe waste in the Gebang Hamlet.” In the discussion, many suggestions and ideas were presented by Pokdarwis team members, which were well received by the MBKM students, including efforts to find references to support these ideas. The initiation meeting for these activities proceeded smoothly and optimistically.

Audience Activity of Community Service by Faculty of Biology Lecturers of Universitas Gadjah Mada in Wedomartani Village, Ngemplak Sub-District, Sleman

Friday, May 3, 2024, In order to follow up on the partnership collaboration with Wedomartani Village, the Faculty of Biology UGM Lecturer Team conducted Community Service activities (PkM) in Partner Villages with the theme: “Community Service based on Regional Potential and Human Resources in Wedomartani, Ngemplak, Sleman”. The Faculty of Biology UGM Lecturer Team, led by Prof. Rarastoeti Pratiwi, consisted of Prof. Endang Semiarti, Dr. Yekti Asih Purwestri, Zuliyati Rohmah, Ph.D.Eng., and Dr. Ardaning Nuriliani, assisted by Moses Atmajadwiputra Polela, S.Si, began with a visit to Wedomartani Village. The Lecturer Team was received directly by the Head of Wedomartani Village, H. Teguh Budianto, accompanied by the Village Secretary, Rohmad Gunawan Hardono, S.Pd., Head of Jetis Hamlet, Wagiman, S.H., M.IP., and Head of Malangrejo Hamlet, Sarbini.


The meeting started with introductions and presentations of the Community Service activity plan for the Partner Village that will be carried out from May to October 2024. The potential of the Wedomartani Village area is significant, including agricultural land, livestock, the presence of wildlife, remnants of temple sites, reservoirs, and the community culture that is sustainable. Human Resources (HR) in the Wedomartani, as a suburban area, has a population with fairly good levels of education and skills, but still needs to be improved and synergized for the management of natural resources in the area. This activity supports the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly goal 17, which is Partnership to Achieve Goals.

There are seven activities planned for this event, namely Utilization of Used Cooking Oil for Aromatherapy based on Lemongrass Extract, which will be carried out by Prof. Laurentius Hartanto Nugroho, Dr. Tri Rini Nuringtyas, and Dr. Yekti Asih Purwestri, in partnership with the Lestari Women Farmer Group of Malangrejo. The Activity of Indigenous Chicken Farming for Community Nutrition Improvement, which will be carried out by Dr. Ardaning Nuriliani and Dr. med.vet. Hendry T.S.S.G. Saragih in partnership with the Pajangan hamlet community. The Utilization of Appropriate Technology for Animal Manure Processing into Organic Fertilizer, which will be carried out by Prof. Rarastoeti Pratiwi and Tyas Ikhsan Hikmawan, Ph.D., in partnership with the Wedomartani Tourism Awareness Group. The Cultivation of Vanda tricolor Orchids, Mount Merapi Native Orchids as the Icon of Sleman Orchids to Support EduTourism, which will be carried out by Prof. Endang Semiarti in partnership with the PKK of Jetis and Malangrejo hamlets. Activities for Prevention and Treatment of Wounds Caused by Venomous Animals, Conservation Efforts for the Environment and Wildlife, and Training in Media and Content Creation for Youth Empowerment, which will be carried out by Zuliyati Rohmah, Ph.D.Eng. and Susilohadi, Ph.D., in partnership with the Wildlife and Environmental Enthusiast Groups, as well as the Youth Organization in Wedomartani.

After the presentation regarding the plans for each Community Service activity by the Faculty of Biology Lecturers, the event continued with remarks from the Head of Wedomartani Village, H. Teguh, who expressed his hopes regarding the Partnership Agreement between the Faculty of Biology UGM and Wedomartani Village, within a period of 5 years, from 2022 to 2027. H. Teguh expressed: “As representatives of the community in Wedomartani Village, we express our gratitude to the Faculty of Biology UGM, and hope that all activities planned meticulously by the lecturers, and communicated with several sub-villages, can proceed smoothly. The community can benefit from these activities, so that this partnership collaboration can yield results and continue in the future, especially in enhancing the economy and welfare of the Wedomartani community.” The meeting at Wedomartani Village proceeded smoothly with camaraderie, and concluded with a group photo.
